for everyone
the malaya lola is one of many groups of women who were abducted and forced to be sexual slaves by the japanese army during the 2nd world war. this particular group is composed of women from the same village. when the japanese attacked, they killed all the men and turned the young girls into comfort women.

they have written songs about their experiences and it was one of these songs that we did a music video of.

the official video launch will be in late november. everybody should come and have a look-see. :D

*duck picture explanation: after the shoot wrapped up and while we were saying our goodbyes, this gigantic group of ducks suddenly came running up from the field behind the house we shot in. i was amazed by the sheer number of them and how fast their little duck feet ran.

thanks to those who liked the video. the whole production team worked really hard on it. :D pao, the director, is hell-bent on polishing it more for the november launch though (the first cut, which you guys saw, was a bit um, rushed) so gaganda pa yan! hehe.

sayang nga i forgot to take a shot of the house's facade. it's an old house in san ildefonso, bulacan where the lolas were brought during ww2. this was where the japs took turns at them. :(

the house is gorgeous and very haunting.
